• Packing

Throughout the selection process, the fruits are transported and immersed in water to avoid any shock that could damage the fruit. We use drinking water and it is regularly filtered and purified.

The apples are then dried, brushed, waxed and sometimes manually sorted by category. Our QA staff put the fruits through a very rigorous screening process throughout the packing process and they will only select homogeneous apples.

Apples are sorted in different categories, each answering specific customer criteria. Thanks to the expertise and experience of our packing staff, we can guarantee to our customers consistent quality.

Depending on the customer and the sales destination, our packing lines can apply a sticker giving the apple variety. They also enable us to ship apples in different packaging types:

    • Trays (1 or 2 rows)
    • Bulk Bins
    • Bushels
    • Trays
    • Bags

When apples are packed in boxes, bushels or 2-row trays, we add a cardboard sheet called a "cell" between the apples and this acts as a shock absorber.
